This trip is for Wind Ensemble Only
Where: Rowan University Music Building, Pfleeger Concert Hall (North Campus Drive, Glassboro, NJ 08028)
Any parents attending, park in the lot nearest Wilson Hall (Lot 0-1). Please allow for extra time if you are unfamiliar with the campus
The concert is free for spectators
When: Wednesday, March 18th (Snow Date on Tuesday, March 24th)
7:15am - 8:25am, Check into Homeroom, then immediately report to the Band Room
Students are excused from all of their classes
You can either arrive to school already dressed in your concert attire or change into it before we leave.
Make sure you eat breakfast before you arrive and bring a bag lunch with you.
Pack all instruments, equipment, music, mutes...etc.
9am, Depart high school (20 min bus ride)
9:20am, Arrive at Rowan University
Watch Performances
We will watch the first 3-4 groups before lunch
11:45am/12pm, Lunch. Bring a bag lunch. We will eat in either the theater lobby or outside the concert hall if the weather is nice.
Percussion - If you need more time to unpack, start unpacking right before lunch.
12:35pm, Warm Up (20 min) in warm up room/on stage
12:55pm, Travel to stage (if needed)
1pm, Perform
After our performance we will be able to work with one of the judges as a clinic.
1:40pm, Performance Ends. Pack up the bus and travel back to the high school.
2:15pm, Approximate Return to WHS
This is an NJGPA Testing Date. If packing up and traveling takes too long and/or If the school schedule is changed to an early dismissal day, we will be returning to the school after the school day is over. Please secure a ride home in advance just in case.
2:30pm, Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)
Permission Slip: Permission slips must be filled out and signed by parents and returned to Mr. Kuntz no later than Wednesday, March 11th. A paper copy will be sent home.
