Jazz Competition - Penns Grove HS 2026

Friday, 3/6 - Jazz Competition - Penns Grove HS (334 Harding Hwy, Carneys Point, NJ 08069)

• 3:20pm, Report for attendance, already dressed in concert black. Travel reminders.

  • If you can't go home and come back, you're welcome to stay in the Band room after school.

• 3:40pm, Load the bus and depart (50min)

• 4:30pm, Arrive at Penns Grove HS

  • Load in, unpack instruments, use bathrooms

• 5:10pm, Warm Up (in Band Room)

• 5:55pm, Performance

  • Tickets: $10 - adults, $5 - students and seniors

• After Performance

  • There will be a clinic with one of the judges immediately following our performance.

  • Students can bring money for concessions after our performance.

  • Watch other groups perform. Check out the line up of performances here.

  • Indoor Percussion & Indoor Color Guard Students: If you'd like to leave after our performance due to another long day on Saturday, that's perfectly fine! I know it's a bit of a drive, but parents would need to pick you up (make sure I see you leave with them). Talk to each other and consider carpooling!

• 9:15pm, Awards Ceremony

• 10:15pm, approximate load buses (50min drive)

• 11:05pm, approximate return to WHS

• 11:20pm, approximate dismissal after clean up
