Upcoming rehearsals and performances

• Tuesday, 11/11 - WBPA Meeting (7pm, Virtual)

• Friday, 11/14

  • Mandatory Christmas Parade Rehearsal (4:30pm - 6pm)

    • This is our only parade rehearsal. Everyone must be in attendance.

    • Pick up at 6pm for anyone not staying for the watch party.

  • BOA Grand Nationals Prelims Watch Party in the Band Room immediately following rehearsal (optional)

    • Pick up around 8:45pm, when the last group finishes performing. We will not stream the awards ceremony (Students can be picked up earlier if needed).

    • Students can bring snacks!

    • What's BOA?

      • BOA (Bands of America) is another Marching Band circuit, like NJMBDA or TOB. Most of the best Marching Bands around the country compete in BOA.

      • Similar to watching DCI groups, this is a wonderful opportunity for students to see the top high school Marching Band programs perform!

• Tuesday, 12/2 & Thursday, 12/4 - Holiday Tour

The Fun Doesn't Stop When Marching Band Ends!

• Monday, 11/10 - Jazz Ensemble, Indoor Percussion and Indoor Color Guard Interest Meetings in High School Band Room

  • 2:30pm - Jazz Ensemble (WHS students only)

  • 6pm - Indoor Color Guard (WHS, WMS, and GCIT students welcome)

  • 7:30pm - Indoor Percussion (WHS, WMS, and GCIT students welcome)

  • Show themes will be announced, rehearsal and performance calendars distributed, and questions answered! More information coming soon!

  • Indoor Percussion & Indoor Color Guard: It is mandatory for a parent to attend this meeting. There is a lot of information that everyone should hear before agreeing to join either of these groups. If a parent is unable to attend, please reach out to Mr. Kuntz asap.
