This week’s rehearsals

• Monday, 9/8 - Mr. Kinsey Service Rehearsal (4pm - 5pm)

  • Only for students participating in the service performance

• Tuesday, 9/9

  • Mr. Kinsey Funeral Service Information

    • Obituary

    • Dress: Concert Black

    • Location: Boakes Funeral Home (6050 Main St, Mays Landing, NJ 08330)

      • There will be no transportation provided. Please reach out to Mr. Kuntz asap if you would like to attend and need a ride. You are allowed to attend the service even if you're not performing.

      • There will be an optional viewing from 5pm-7pm. Students and Parents may arrive early if they wish to attend the viewing.

    • 4:55pm - Pack Blue Trailer at High School

      • We will first need to unload some of the instruments/equipment we don't need. Then pack the extra instruments/equipment we will need. Not everyone needs to help load, but help is definitely appreciated.

    • 5:15pm - Blue Trailer Departs High School

    • 6pm - Arrive at Boakes Funeral Home

      • Please be prepared for side street parking. You may need to park a little ways from the funeral home and walk a bit.

      • Unload and set up equipment

    • 6:20pm - Rehearse/Run through Amazing Grace once or twice

      • There will be a little bit of waiting around before the service.

    • 7pm - Service

      • We will perform before/ to open the service.

      • We will perform outside the funeral home on the front lawn/sidewalk. Please be prepared for the wind and grass (shoes).

    • 8pm - Approximate service end & pack trailer

    • 8:30pm - Approximate Depart Mays Landing

    • 9:15pm - Approximate Return to WHS

    • 9:45pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

      • We will need to unload some of the instruments/equipment, then reload the instruments/equipment that we temporarily stored in the hallways.

• Thursday, 9/11 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

Friday, 9/12 - Away Football Game at Chichester HS (3333 Chichester Ave, Boothwyn, PA 19061)

• *Wear your blue polo or member shirt. Eat dinner before you arrive, you will not be able to eat a snack until halftime. Check the weather!

• 4:45pm - Report to HS

• 4:50pm - Load Equipment onto Pick Up Truck and Buses. Use bathrooms before we depart.

• 5:10pm - Depart on WHS Buses (1hr 10min bus ride)

• 6:20pm - Arrive at Chichester HS

• 7pm - Game Starts

• Halftime - We will watch Chichester's Band's performance, then students will be allowed to use the bathrooms and eat a snack provided by the Band Parents.

• 9:30pm – Approximate game end

• 9:45pm – Depart Chichester HS

• 10:55pm – Approximate Return to WHS

• 11:05pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

Saturday, 9/13 - Rehearsal

• 7:30am - Doors open

• 8:30am - Everyone Report to HS to load trailers for rehearsal (please eat breakfast before you arrive).

• 9am - Rehearsal Begins

• 12pm - Lunch Break

• 1pm - Rehearsal Resumes

• 4pm - Rehearsal Ends

• Practice Packing the Blue Trailer

  • Students that are not involved with pit crew or loading the trailer can be picked up from the high school once they're done cleaning up. Approx pick up at 4:15pm.

  • Students that are part of the pit crew and percussion sections should plan on staying to learn how we are packing the trailers this season. If you cannot stay after rehearsal, please contact Mr. Kuntz asap.

  • Any parents that plan to help load/unload/put together props at competitions this year are encouraged to join us! Meet us at our blue and white trailers located at the middle school football gate.
