Rehearsals

• Tuesday, 9/29 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

• Wednesday, 9/30 - AMA (American Music Abroad) Meeting with Dr. Hodgson at 7pm in the High School Band Room. Optional, only for students interested.

  • High School Back to School Night

Friday, 10/2 - Home Football Game vs Kingsway High School. 

• *Wear your blue member shirt (you will need to wear it under your uniform). Eat dinner before you arrive, you will not be able to eat a snack until after your halftime performance.

• We will need parent volunteers to help us move props and equipment on and off the field. Sign Up Here.

• 4:30pm - Everyone Report to HS

  • Attendance, then:

  • Pit and Pit Crew will load the trailer immediately after attendance, then change into uniforms.

  • If you're not on Pit Crew:

    • Retrieve your uniform from the uniform closet and change into uniforms.

  • Please use bathrooms now!

• 5pm - Depart for Stadium

  • Unload the pit trailers

  • Retrieve podium and props from trailers (weather depending). Put everything at the corner of the track.

• 5:15pm - Set up in the stands before student section arrives.

  • Battery will lead our football team onto the field.

• 6pm - Game Starts

• Halftime performance!

  • 3rd quarter (after performance), students will be given pretzels (or chips/snacks) and water provided by the Band Parents and will be allowed to use the bathrooms. Students will be able to visit with the visiting school's band.

• 8:30pm – Approximate game end

• 8:45pm – Approximate Return to WHS

• 9pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

Saturday, 10/3 - NJMBDA Competition at Millville HS (Millville's football stadium is located at Millville Memorial High School, 504 E Broad St, Millville, NJ 08332)

• 8:15am - Doors Open

• 9:15am - Report to High School for attendance. Please eat breakfast before you arrive.

  • Winds and Percussion - Make sure you are wearing your 2026 tour shirt

  • Color Guard - Speak with Gia and leadership about what to wear/come prepared with (hair, makeup, etc)

• 9:20am - Students will load the golf cart trailer with anything that needs to still be packed (cases, wind instruments, etc.). Students will walk over

• 9:35am - Pack the blue and white trailers at the middle school. Students will then walk back to the high school.

• 10:20am (approx) - Students change into uniforms

• 10:35am - Depart Williamstown

  • It's highly recommended to bring a non-messy snack to eat on the bus. You will not be able to eat until after our performance.

• 11:15am - Arrive at Millville Memorial HS

  • Unpack the trucks

  • Use the bathrooms (last opportunity to use bathrooms until after the performance)

• 12:10pm - Warm Up

• 1:45pm - Perform

  • Schedule of other performing groups and other info.

• After our performance:

  • Pack up all instruments and equipment.

  • Watch other groups perform

  • Students will have the opportunity to purchase concessions (most likely cash only) following our performance

• 3:15pm - Awards

  • All students should be sitting in a group during the awards ceremony.

  • No staff judges critique.

• 3:45pm - Load Buses and return home

• 4:25pm - Approximate Return to WHS

• 4:55pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

  • Uniform Washing Instructions

    • Uniforms should be taken home to be washed every 1-2 weeks.

    • Uniforms should be returned on Tuesday nights (at the beginning or end of rehearsals) to ensure everything is accounted for in the uniform closet for Friday and Saturday performances.

  • 8pm, WBPA Meeting (in HS Band Room)

  • Don't forget to return uniforms to the uniform closet if you took them home to wash them!

• Thursday, 10/8 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

• Friday, 10/9 - Away Football Game at Delsea

  • Report Time TBD

  • Game starts at 7pm

• Saturday, 10/10

  • TOB Competition at Clayton HS. (Report Time around 10am, 1:45pm Performance time)

  • We will travel from Clayton HS to Washington Twp HS. Students will be able to visit the concession stands for dinner.

  • TOB Competition at Washington Twp HS (8:30pm Performance time)

  • Awards at 10:30pm

    • Parents can pick students up early from the competition if they want to.

  • Dismissal will be around 11:50pm

    • Student drivers, please think ahead.

• Monday, 10/12 - Chipotle Fundraiser!

• Tuesday, 10/13 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

• Thursday, 10/15 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

• Friday, 10/16 - Home Football Game vs Northern Burlington

  • We perform during pregame due to halftime Homecoming ceremony

• Saturday, 10/17

  • Rehearsal (11am - 3pm). Everyone must attend rehearsal.

  • After Rehearsal

    • Students participating in the Halloween parade will stay at the high school to eat dinner, change into costumes...etc.

    • Students participating in the Homecoming dance are dismissed after clean up.

    • 7pm - Parade begins

    • 7:45pm - Approximate Return to WHS

    • 8pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

      • If you are attending the parade, we recommend parking near St. Mary's/Oak Knoll Elementary and then walking to CVS/the parade in order to leave easier to remain on time for pick up.
