This week’s rehearsals

• Tuesday, 9/2 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

  • WBPA Meeting at 8pm in High School Band Room. Important planning for Home Show competition!

• Thursday, 9/4

  • First Day of School! - Pep Band (HS students only). Fill out this Google Form, even if you cannot participate. Performs at 7:15am as all students walk into the building (6:45am report at theater entrance).

  • Rehearsal for everyone (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

Friday, 9/5 - Home Football Game vs Shawnee HS

• *Wear your blue member shirt (you will need to wear it under your uniform). Eat dinner before you arrive, you will not be able to eat a snack until after your halftime performance.

• 4:30pm - Everyone Report to HS

  • Pit and Pit Crew will load the trailer immediately after attendance

  • If you're not on Pit Crew:

    • Winds and Perc: Retrieve your uniform from the uniform closet. Drape it on one of the chairs in the Band room. Then rehearse the pep tunes listed below.

    • Color Guard should change into uniforms and can work in sectionals outside in the theater lot.

• 5pm - Rehearse Pep Tunes

• 5:40pm - Bathrooms and Change into Uniforms

• 6pm - Depart for Stadium

  • Unload the pit trailers

  • Retrieve podium and props from trailers (weather depending)

• 6:15pm - Set up in the stands before student section arrives.

  • Battery will lead our football team onto the field.

• 7pm - Game Starts

• Halftime performance!

  • 3rd quarter (after performance), students will be given pretzels and water provided by the Band Parents and will be allowed to use the bathrooms. Students will be able to visit with the visiting school's band.

• 9:30pm – Approximate game end

• 9:45pm – Approximate Return to WHS

• 10pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

Saturday, 9/6 - Rehearsal

• Students, be prepared to have Mvt 3 memorized for this rehearsal. We will be learning Mvt 3 Drill! Goal is to play and move some of Mvt 3 by the end of rehearsal!

• 8:30am - Everyone Report to HS to load trailers for rehearsal (please eat breakfast before you arrive).

• 9am - Rehearsal Begins

• 12pm - Lunch Break

• 1pm - Rehearsal Resumes

• 4pm - Rehearsal Ends

• Practice Packing the Blue Trailer has been moved to Sat, 9/13 due to the incoming storms. Students will be dismissed at 4:15pm.

• 5pm - 6pm, Mr. Kinsey Service Performance - Rehearsal (only for students participating in the performance)

• Friday, 9/19 - Away Football at Timber Creek High School (6pm Game Start, Report Time TBD)

• Saturday, 9/20 - NJMBDA Competition at Clearview Regional High School (Report Time TBD)
