9/15-9/19 Weekly Schedule

Rehearsals
Tuesday, 9/15 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)
We will practice getting everything on and off the field at the beginning of rehearsal.
Thursday, 9/17 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)
The Band Parents will assist students with their uniform pants at the end of rehearsal.
*Wear your blue member shirt (you will need to wear it under your uniform). Eat dinner before you arrive, you will not be able to eat a snack until after your halftime performance.
4:15pm - Everyone Report to HS
Attendance, then:
Pit and Pit Crew will load the trailer immediately after attendance, then change into uniforms.
If you're not on Pit Crew:
Winds and Perc: Retrieve your uniform from the uniform closet and change into uniforms.
Color Guard should change into uniforms and can work in sectionals outside in the theater lot grass.
Please use bathrooms now!
5pm - Depart for Stadium
Unload the pit trailers
Retrieve podium and props from trailers (weather depending). Put everything at the corner of the track.
5:15pm - Set up in the stands before student section arrives.
Battery will lead our football team onto the field.
6pm - Game Starts
Halftime performance!
3rd quarter (after performance), students will be given pretzels (or chips/snacks) and water provided by the Band Parents and will be allowed to use the bathrooms. Students will be able to visit with the visiting school's band.
8:30pm – Approximate game end
8:45pm – Approximate Return to WHS
9pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)
We will need parent volunteers to help us move props and equipment on and off the field. Sign Up Here.
Saturday, 9/19 - Competition at Clearview Regional HS (420 Cedar Rd, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062)
*Wear your grey tour shirt (you will need to wear it under your uniform). Eat breakfast before you arrive, you will not be able to eat until lunch.
11:30am - Everyone Report to HS for Film from last night's football game.
12:30pm - Transport equipment to the practice field and set up for rehearsal.
Make sure you bring cases, tarps, etc. for everything. We will pack up the trucks immediately following rehearsal
1:15pm (or sooner) - Begin Rehearsal
3:15pm - Pack up the Blue and White Trailers at the Middle School
Parents, if you're helping with truck packing, please meet us at the Middle School.
3:45pm - Eat and Change into uniforms
4:45pm - Depart Williamstown
5:15pm - Arrive at Clearview HS
Unpack the instruments, props, and equipment
Use the bathrooms (last opportunity to use bathrooms until after the performance)
Here is an information packet with ticket prices, logistics and other groups performance times.
5:45pm - Warm Up
7pm - Perform
After our performance:
Pack up instruments, props, and equipment
Students will have the opportunity to purchase concessions (most likely cash only) and watch some of the other bands perform
8:15pm - Awards (no judges critique)
9:15pm - Load Buses and return home
9:45pm – Approximate Return to WHS
10:15pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up and announcements)
We will need parent volunteers to help us drive trucks, pack trucks, move props and equipment on and off the field...etc. Please Sign Up Here.

Wednesday, 9/23 - Middle School Instrument Petting Zoo for select students.
Thursday, 9/24 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)
We are not attending the Away Football Game at Cherry Hill East
Friday, 9/25 - No Football Game. No Rehearsal. Enjoy the night off and rest up before the long Saturday!
Saturday, 9/26 - NJMBDA & TOB Home Show Competitions! (a more in depth schedule coming next week!)
10:15am - Report, gather uniforms, instruments and equipment for the entire day and walk over to the Middle School stadium.
Students will put on uniforms and take group and individual photos in the Middle School gym (Photos will be available for purchase. More information coming soon)
12:30pm - NJMBDA show starts
4pm - Williamstown performs
4:30pm - Awards
5:30pm - TOB show starts
9:15pm - Williamstown performs
9:45pm - Awards
Volunteer Sign Up Information! This event requires many volunteers to run successfully! It's a long day, so even if you can't volunteer the entire day, any amount of time in appreciated!

If you are a student in Marching Band, you cannot sign up to work the event.
Tuesday, 9/29 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)
Wednesday, 9/30 - AMA (American Music Abroad) Meeting with Dr. Hodgson at 7pm in the High School Band Room. Optional, only for students interested.
Thursday, 10/1 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)
High School Back to School Night
Friday, 10/2 - Home Football Game vs. Kingsway
Report Time 4pm
Game starts at 6pm
Saturday, 10/3 - NJMBDA Competition at Millville HS. (Report Time TBD, Performance time TBD, typically an afternoon performance time).
