For those that are new to Marching Band, every Monday/Tuesday I put together a weekly schedule so everyone knows what to expect for the upcoming week's rehearsals and performances. Typically I send this out by Monday evening/Tuesday morning because sometimes competition performance times are not assigned in advance.

This week’s rehearsals

- Tuesday, 8/20 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)

- At 5:30pm, the BPA will be showing all students and staff how to properly assemble and take care of our props. Any parents that plan to help load/unload/put together props at competitions this year are welcome to join us! We will meet in the High School Theater.

- Students, dot books must be completed (legible, exact dots, etc.). Be ready for us to call out a random page and be able to set it up quickly and silently.

- Thursday, 8/22 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)

Saturday, 8/24 - Rehearsal (9am - 4pm)

- 8:15am - Everyone Report to HS to load trailers for rehearsal (please eat breakfast before you arrive).

- 9am - Rehearsal Begins in Football Stadium

- 12pm - Lunch Break

- 1pm - Uniform Etiquette and Care session.

- 2:30pm - Set Up and Warm Up in Football Stadium

- The BPA will be selling Candy Grams and Air Grams that will be read over the stadium speakers before our performance begins

- 3:30pm - Parent Preview Performance

- 4:15pm - Load Equipment onto trailers & Ice Cream Social in Football Stadium

- 5pm - Walk back to High School, Unload equipment, and Clean Up Band Room.

- 5:30pm - Approx dismissal at High School

Sunday, 8/25 - AMP Spin Clinic (12pm - 4pm)

Upcoming rehearsals and performances

- Tuesday, 8/27 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)

- Friday, 8/30 - Home Football Game vs Seneca HS (Report time TBD).

- We will not perform during half time, only pep tunes in the stands and possibly the National Anthem.

- Saturday, 8/31 - No Rehearsal! Enjoy your Labor Day weekend and your final days of summer vacation!

- Tuesday, 9/3 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)

- Thursday, 9/5

- First Day of School! - Pep Band (HS students only) Performs at 7:15am as all students walk into the building (6:45am report at theater entrance, more information coming soon).

- Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)

- Friday, 9/6 - Away Football Game at Shawnee HS (Game starts at 6pm, Report time TBD).

- Saturday, 9/7 - Rehearsal (8:30am - 4:15pm)

- We will practice loading the blue trailer after rehearsal. Students that are part of the pit crew and percussion sections should plan on staying to learn how it all works. Any parents that plan to help load/unload/put together props at competitions this year are encouraged to join us!
