This week’s rehearsals
- Tuesday, 10/5 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm) [Band Parent Meeting starting at 8pm]
- Thursday, 10/7 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm)
Friday, 10/8 - Away Football Game at Washington Township HS
- 5:30pm – Report and Load Trailer (wear your blue member shirt and non-ripped jeans, eat dinner before you come, you will not be able to eat a snack until after Washington Township’s Half Time performance)
- 6pm - Depart for Football game
- 7pm - Game Starts
- 9:30pm – Approximate Game End
- 10:15pm – Approximate Return to WHS
- 10:30pm - Approximate Dismissal
Saturday, 10/9 - Competition at Millville HS
- 10am - Rehearsal begins in parking lot
- 1:40pm - Load the trailer, Eat (bring dinner, this will be the last time you will be able to eat until after our performance), and Dress (make sure you have your 2021 Leonardo tour shirt if you don’t wear it to rehearsal)
- 3:25pm - Depart WHS
- 6:30pm - Performance at Millville HS
- 8:15pm - Approximate Return to WHS. We decided we will not stay for the awards ceremony for a few reasons:
We are the only Group 1 Open Band competing
Awards were pushed back to starting at 10pm (we wouldn't return until around 11:30pm)
Students would only get to watch the same A-Class Bands they say last week
We have a very busy week ahead of us with Middle School Recruitment, the Home Football Game (also Middle School Band Night) a competition on Saturday and another competition on Sunday.
There is no Rain Date Competition on Sunday, 10/10.
Middle School Recruitment Field Trip on Tuesday, 10/12 (Wednesday, 10/13 Rain Date)

- Thursday, 10/14 - I encourage everyone to go see the fall play to support the drama department! 7pm start time. Ticket prices TBD, check the WHS website.
- Friday, 10/15 - Home Football Game vs. Millville HS. Homecoming & Middle School Band Night! Tentative Schedule (times subject to change):
Report around 4:45pm to load trailer, change into uniforms, warm up and rehearse National Anthem with Middle School students
Leave for stadium around 6pm
Pregame performance at 6:30pm (can’t perform during Half Time due to Homecoming ceremony)
Perform the National Anthem on the field with MS students after chop (when the football players storm the field)
Game starts at 7pm
- Saturday, 10/16 - Competition at West Deptford HS (Williamstown performs at 6:45pm at West Deptford HS. Awards at 9:15pm. More information coming soon).
- Sunday, 10/17 - Competition at Deptford HS (Williamstown performs at 3:15pm at Deptford HS. Awards at 5:30pm. More information coming soon).
