This week’s rehearsals
- Tuesday, 10/24 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)
- Thursday, 10/26 - Rehearsal (6pm - 9pm, 5:15pm report)
- Dr. Cooney, Rowan University Marching Band Director will be visiting our rehearsal!
Friday, 10/27 - No Football Game. No Rehearsal.
Saturday, 10/28
- 10:45am - Senior Speeches, Slideshow, and Group Activity.
*Seniors, please plan out what you'd like to say! Each Senior will have up to 5 minutes to speak. You don't have to use all of the time. (If all 13 Seniors take 5 minutes to speak, speeches will last for about 65 minutes...).
- Students that want to bring a late breakfast/early lunch can eat during this time.
- 12:45pm - Load small trailers and walk over to the stadium
- 1:30pm - Rehearsal
- Parents, potluck items can be dropped off in the HS cafeteria between 3:15pm - 4pm on your way to the Send Off Performance.
- 3:30pm - Break to change into uniforms and eat a quick snack.
- The Band Parents will be selling $1 air grams and $1 candy grams beginning at 3:15pm. Air grams are messages that you can send to your child or their friends as they take the field (Mr. Kuntz will read these messages over the football PA speakers), and candy grams are messages that get attached to a piece of candy that your child or their friends enjoy!
- 4pm - Parent Send Off Performance in the MS Stadium (everyone's invited!)
- 4:15pm - Group Photos with the prop (Parents are welcome to take pictures and be in some of the pictures too!)
- 4:30pm - Pack the blue trailer and box truck with everything we need for Sunday's performance at the MS football stadium. We will not need to pack on Sunday morning.
- 5:30pm - Potluck and special awards in the HS Cafeteria.

Sunday, 10/29, NJMBDA State Championships (the Final Competition of the season!) (The College of New Jersey, 2000 Pennington Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08618)
- 8am - Report, dress, and use bathrooms before we leave
- 8:20am - Depart WHS (1hr 30min bus ride)
- 9:50am - Arrive at TCNJ, unpack, bathrooms, and travel to warm up area.
- Students will also have some time to eat bagels and donuts provided by the Band Parents (Thank you Band Parents!).
- 11:15am - Visual & Music Warm Up
- 12:40pm - Williamstown performance
*Students will receive water and a snack after the performance when we return to the buses. Students may also visit the concession stand after our performance.
- 3:50pm - Awards
- 6:50pm - Approximate Pick Up at WHS after changing out of uniforms and cleaning up equipment

- All current Marching Band members are expected to march in the parade.

- Wednesday, 11/8 - Wind Ensemble and Concert Band Fall Concert
- Concert starts at 7pm in the Williamstown Middle School Auditorium
- Tuesday, 11/14* - Indoor Percussion Interest Meeting (5pm - 6pm in WHS Band Room)
- Currently open to all 8th - 12th grade students from WHS, WMS, and GCIT. Specific information coming soon.
- Learn about the ensemble, hand out warm up packets, go through rehearsal and performance calendar, join the Remind, reveal this year's show music and theme!
- A parent must attend this interest meeting in order for the student to participate. Please reach out to Mr. Kuntz if this is a problem.
