• Tuesday, 10/21 - Rehearsal (5:15pm - 9:15pm, doors open at 4pm)

Friday, 10/24 - Away Football Game at Kingsway Regional HS (201 Kings Hwy, Woolwich Township, NJ 08085)

• *Wear your blue polo or member shirt. Eat dinner before you arrive, you will not be able to eat a snack until halftime. Check the weather!

• 4:35pm - Report to HS

  • Students are allowed to stay in the Band room after school. Please contact Mr. Kuntz if you are unable to make it to report on time. We will not be able to wait for students that arrive late.

• 4:40pm - Load Equipment onto Pick Up Truck and Buses. Use bathrooms before we depart.

• 4:50pm - Depart on WHS Buses (40min bus ride)

• 5:30pm - Arrive at Kingsway Regional HS

• 6pm - Game Starts

• Halftime - We will watch Kingsway's Band perform, then students will be allowed to use the bathrooms and eat a snack provided by the Band Parents.

• 8:30pm – Approximate game end

• 8:45pm – Depart Kingsway Regional HS

• 9:25pm – Approximate Return to WHS

• 9:40pm - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

Saturday, 10/25 - NJMBDA Regional Championship at Union High School (2369 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083)

• Volunteer Sign Up Here! This event requires many volunteers to run successfully! Especially because we have never performed at this venue before!

• 8:30am - Doors Open

• 9am - Report to High School for attendance, Load Trailers, Travel to Practice Field, and Set Up Props

  • Students, bring all cases, covers, etc. to pack at the Middle School after rehearsal.

  • Make sure you bring your 2025 tour shirt to change into it after rehearsal.

• 9:55am - Rehearsal Begins

• 11:55am - Pack blue trailer and box truck at the Middle School Stadium

  • Parents, if you're helping with truck packing, please meet us at the Middle School.

• 12:25pm - Break, Eat a snack, and change into uniforms

• 12:55pm - Depart Williamstown (2hr 15min bus ride)

  • Students are encouraged to bring non-messy snacks and water to eat/drink on the bus

  • All students should use the bathroom before we depart

• 3:10pm - Arrive at Union HS

  • Buses will park at Hannah Caldwell Elementary School (1120 Commerce Ave, Union NJ 07083)

  • Equipment Trucks will park at Conlon Field (88 Stahuber Ave, Union NJ 07083)

  • Spectators should park at Union High School (2369 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ 07083)

  • Unpack the trucks

  • Build the props

  • Use the bathrooms, a bit of a walk (last opportunity to use bathrooms until after the performance)

• 4:05pm - Warm Up

• 5:30pm - Perform

  • Schedule of other performing groups

• After our performance:

  • Pack up all instruments and equipment. Parents will assist with loading trailers and packing props.

  • Watch other groups perform

  • Students should have the opportunity to purchase concessions (most likely cash only) immediately following our performance

• 8:45pm - Awards

  • All students should be sitting in a group during the awards ceremony.

• 9:45pm - Load Buses and return home

• 12am - Approximate Return to WHS

• 12:30am - Approximate Dismissal (after clean up)

• Friday, 10/31 - Possible Playoff Football Game TBD (Game Start TBD, Report Time TBD)

• Saturday, 11/1 - Rehearsal & Send Off Performance

  • *It's possible that a playoff football game could be moved to Saturday, 11/1 to avoid Halloween. If this happens, we would attend the playoff football game and hold a send off performance. Schedule TBD until we have more information.

    • If a playoff football game is scheduled on Saturday 11/1, students would not have rehearsal on Friday 10/31 (enjoy the night off!).

  • Schedule if there is no playoff football game:

    • 10:45am - Senior Speeches, Slideshow, and Group Activities

      • Seniors, please begin planning out what you'd like to say! Each Senior will have up to 5 minutes to speak. You don't have to use all of the time. (If all 10 Seniors take 5 minutes to speak, speeches will last for about 50 minutes...).

    • 1:30pm - Rehearsal

    • 3:30pm - Snack Break & Change into uniforms

    • 4pm - Parent Send Off Performance

    • 4:15pm - Group Photos in Uniform with Props

    • 4:30pm - Pack everything for the following day.

• Sunday, 11/2 - NJMBDA State Championships at The College of New Jersey (Performance at 1:10pm, Report Time probably early, TBD)

  • Volunteer Sign Up Here! This event requires many volunteers to run successfully! We especially need more non-senior parents to volunteer so the senior parents can watch their child's final performance.

  • Tickets for Championships can only be purchased in advance. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Tickets can be purchased online on the day of the event, but there will be no cash handling or kiosks at TCNJ. Click on this link to purchase tickets.

    • All sales are final and are not refundable.

• Tuesday, 12/2 & Thursday, 12/4 - Holiday Tour (schedule coming soon)

The Fun Doesn't Stop When Marching Band Ends!

• Monday, 11/10 - Jazz Ensemble, Indoor Percussion and Indoor Color Guard Interest Meetings in High School Band Room

  • 2:30pm - Jazz Ensemble (WHS students only)

  • 6pm - Indoor Color Guard (WHS, WMS, and GCIT students welcome)

  • 7:30pm - Indoor Percussion (WHS, WMS, and GCIT students welcome)

  • Show themes will be announced, rehearsal and performance calendars distributed, and questions answered! More information coming soon!

  • Indoor Percussion & Indoor Color Guard: It is mandatory for a parent to attend this meeting. There is a lot of information that everyone should hear before agreeing to join either of these groups. If a parent is unable to attend, please reach out to Mr. Kuntz asap.
